I also want to comment on my alma mater's letters to the editor, The Forum.

There has been a lot of talk about a "die-in" in the union, which I don't care to comment on.

This headline pretty much sums up the letter that followed it:
Cartoon drawing of ‘stereotypical Frenchman’ is ‘example of racism’
France is a country, but French isn't a race. Even if it were, racism against the French isn't a serious issue. They aren't being unfairly mistreated in any way.
If boycotts of goods are racist, tell that to Jesse Jackson the next time he calls for all blacks to boycott something white. Ok, that's a bad example, but you get the point.
