Presidential Debates
 
Kerry is calling for several debates with Bush. There is nothing necessarily wrong with that, except for the hypocrisy that is likely to happen when they don't occur.
First, Kerry refused to have the number of debates that John Edwards wanted.
Second, Clinton only allowed Dole two debates in 1996. I don't know what the standard number is for an incumbent, but I don't recall hearing anyone bad-mouth Clinton for limiting it to a couple.
