This morning I awoke to a fire alarm. I figured it was false, but when I opened the door, the hallway was filled with smoke. "Damn, this is a real fire," I said to the other guy in the hallway. I grabbed my wallet, phone, and keys and headed outside. After sitting for about 30 minutes, they let us back in. As far as I could tell, the only difference was that the alarm was off. I guess I can't complain about my room smelling like smoke any more. Incidentally, Ken from the front desk didn't even know that the fire was real.
